This is the story of my father (1901-1988), a man of few words, strong will and immense intellect, a great listener, and a man who was always well ahead of his time. This story, about 100 pages long, celebrates his life. It attempts to narrate what was life like in the region around Mettupatti, a hamlet in the Kamuthi-Mudukulathur area, in the 1900s, and the role he played in shaping the socioeconomic and political aspects of the region.
