I joined North Central College in 1985, an institution with strong character and moral strength, as associate professor of mathematics.
Promoted to full professor in 1989, I was tenured in 1991. I was appointed as vice-president for academic affairs and dean of faculty
in 1995 (acting in the first year) and continued in that position for 20 years until I retired in 2015. The College has been my home and part
of my life for 30 years. It will remain so for ever.
I wanted to express my life at North Central College through a gallery of pictures but I fell short of my goal as I do not have access to all
relevant pictures, especially the ones covering faculty activities. I am constantly hunting for more pictures. This page will, therefore, be
always in construction mode.

After retirement, I moved to Boulder. The first thing I did was to get a license to ride motorcycles.
I enjoy riding motorbikes.
